Many people don't realize that a little more than $15 of their $40 registration fee goes toward
payment of their uniform expenses. The remaining amount of the registration fee is used for the
operation and administration of the park and game schedule.
The NEP Board of Directors voted at its May 14th meeting to reduce the registration fee to $25
for the 1998 season and allow its members to settle uniform expenses with uniform retailers
rather than parcel it through the Park.
The NEP Board of Directors anticipates that with the $25 registration fee, the $30 raffle ticket
obligation and the $400 team project money obligation will remain unchanged for the 1998
season.
NEP will continue to provide a high-calibre, top value baseball and softball program through the
1998 season and beyond.
